In the year of 2006 founder, Lakendrick Simpson was walking the mall in Arlington Texas, looking for barber apparel. One store had the right colors, but the wrong style. Another store had the right style, but the wrong concept.

 

Ken spent the next hour in the mall, walking from store to store, only to leave empty – handed and very frustrated. He tried looking for shirts online, but again was unsuccessful. Although there were a lot of “mom and pop” shops selling barber apparel online, there were not any major online retailers that specialized in barber trends for barbers & stylists.
